Khosrow Khalighi, M.Ac. (UK), Dipl. Ac. (NCCAOM), L.Ac., the founder and director of the Five Element Acupuncture Training Program, has been practicing and teaching Classical Five Element Acupuncture since 1979. He has trained a number of leading medical practitioners who have incorporated this approach into their practices.

Trained in Classical Medicine by Professor J. R. Worsley, world renowned authority on Classical Five Element Acupuncture, Khosrow founded The Traditional Acupuncture Clinic in San Francisco where he has been in private practice since 1979.

He has lectured and taught extensively in medical and acupuncture schools such as University of California Medical School in San Francisco, Traditional Acupuncture Institute in Maryland, Worsley institute, American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, California Institute of Integral Studies and has been a presenter at such conferences as the International Conference on AIDS.

Edward Lee, M.T.O.M., L.Ac. has been studying Classical Five Element Acupuncture with Khosrow Khalighi since 2004, and has been teaching in the program since 2007. He has been in private practice in Santa Rosa since 2000. Edward received his Masters of Traditional Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 1999. Prior to his acupuncture training, he studied Biology at the University of California, San Diego. Edward is honored to have the opportunity to share Classical Five Element Acupuncture with others so that they too can understand the transformative power of this elegant medicine.
Moira Opalka, NP, LAc
Moira Opalka, NP, LAcTeaching Assistant
Moira Opalka completed the Five Element Acupuncture Training program with Khosrow Khalighi and Shirley Nichols in 2007.  She continues to study Classical Chinese Medicine and work under the mentorship of Khosrow Khalighi.  Moira is also a licensed nurse practitioner since 1997.  She currently specializes in the treatment of chronic pain at Bay Area Pain Medical Associates, in Sausalito, Ca.  
Kyle Hartman
Kyle HartmanTeaching Assistant
Kyle Hartman LAc is a licensed acupuncturist practicing in Marin county. In addition to his private practice he also assists Khosrow in his clinic. Kyle completed his Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco while simultaneously studying Classical Five Element Acupuncture with Khosrow and is a graduate of the Five Element Training program.
